We successfully incorporated green chemistry and green engineering to develop a highly selective PGM refining process that allowed:
- Conservation of energy, infrastructure, water, chemicals, labour, space and time
- Minimal waste generation, elimination of organic solvents use and achievement of a zero carbon footprint
- Near perfect separation rates and metal recovery purity enabling a circular economy and individual metal sustainability
